Mastermind Recovery’s Grace outreach events are more than just service projects—they are life-changing opportunities for those who participate, both as volunteers and recipients. Through compassion, community, and the love of Jesus, we strive to make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Grace outreach occurs 6 times per year. Throughout the event, we have a variety of individuals share their stories and testimonies. Many of these speakers were once in the same difficult situation—struggling with homelessness or addiction—and have since found their way to the other side. Their testimonies offer powerful messages of hope, resilience, and the transformative power of faith in Jesus. By sharing their journeys, they provide a beacon of light and encouragement to those who are still struggling.

During our Grace Outreach, we offer;

Care Packs and Hot Meals

During each outreach event, we assemble and distribute care packs that contain essential items such as hygiene products, clothing, and other basic necessities that many of our unhoused neighbours lack access to. We understand that these small but critical resources can make a big difference in their daily lives. In addition to care packs, we provide home-cooked hot meals prepared with love and care by our volunteers. A warm meal can bring comfort, dignity, and a sense of connection, and we ensure that everyone who joins us at these events is fed, both physically and emotionally.

Barber Services

Something as simple as a haircut can make a profound impact on someone’s self-esteem and confidence. We partner with local barbers who donate their time and skills to provide haircuts to individuals who may not have access to such services. This small gesture can bring a sense of normalcy and dignity back to their lives—something many of us take for granted but can be deeply transformative for someone in need.

Manicure and Pedicure

At Mastermind Recovery, we believe in caring for both the physical and emotional well-being of every individual. As part of our outreach services, we provide manicures and pedicures to the homeless community, offering more than just hygiene—it’s a way to restore dignity, boost confidence, and remind them that they are valued. This simple act helps people feel cared for, empowering them with a renewed sense of self-worth. Our goal is to foster community, addressing not just physical needs but also the emotional and mental well-being of those we serve.

Comfort and Connection

We go the extra mile to make sure everyone feels welcome and comfortable during our Grace outreach events. Our team sets up chairs, tents, and sound equipment so that participants can relax and feel at ease. These efforts create an inviting environment where they can engage in meaningful conversations and hear messages of hope.

Helping People Take the First Steps to a New Life

For those ready to make a change in their lives, Mastermind Recovery offers direct, practical support to help them transition from the streets back into society. Here’s how we assist individuals who are ready for this life-changing step:

Health Insurance

We help them sign up for health insurance, an essential first step in accessing the care they need.

Cell Phones

We provide them with cell phones, which serve as a vital tool for staying in touch and accessing resources.

Support Until Treatment

We maintain regular contact with them until their insurance is activated, ensuring they have a consistent point of support.

Treatment Program

Once their insurance is in place, we help them get into treatment programs where they can begin their journey to recovery.

Sober Living Transition

After completing treatment, we offer them a place in our sober living program, where they receive the ongoing support and structure they need to successfully reintegrate into society.

Giving Back: A Fundamental Part of Recovery

One of the most inspiring aspects of our outreaches are how they allow those who have struggled in the past to give back. Many of our volunteers and speakers were once in the same position—dealing with homelessness, addiction, or despair.
